Tungsten Products for Sale: Wire
Tungsten wires with any diameter (≥ 0.00030"/0.007 mm) and any surface finish, from as-drawn to various grades of electro-polished, are available. Our superior wire electro-polishing creates uniform surfaces over continuous lengths. Our methods utilize proprietary chemistry and unique and sophisticated anode and cathode management that optimizes position and current for specific polished surfaces from a clean finish to a mirror finish. As drawn finishes are also available.
Because we blend our own powders, we can supply a range of doped and un-doped compositions. We have tungsten products with the highest dopant and therefore recrystallization properties in the industry, segmented into four grades of potassium dopant to meet your highest recrystallization temperature requirements. At the other end of the spectrum (and unique amongst refractory wire drawing companies) we offer the only truly contaminant-free 99.999% pure undoped tungsten wire.
Tungsten Products for Sale: Gold Plated
We offer the only vertically integrated in-house production of gold plated tungsten wire. The thickness of our gold plating starts at our recommended minimum of 0.3 microns to achieve maximum savings and still maintain uniform and defect-free gold plate along the entire wire surface. We are able to place a 1.5 micron gold plated surface onto spooled wire with diameters as small as 0.001" (0.025mm).
Tungsten Products for Sale: Ribbon
Our unique advantage is that our tungsten ribbon is engineered for high volume production and economical pricing. Tungsten ribbon can be made from all available tungsten wire metallurgical compositions, and can be produced at width to thickness ratios under 8:1. Our tungsten ribbon can receive the same surface treatments as our wire. In addition to specialty electro-polished surfaces, our tungsten ribbon can be gold plated by the same methods utilized in production of our gold plated tungsten wire to produce both minimum recommended as well as other plating thicknesses you require.
